So, life continues to be very busy, but not with anything too exciting. I have been VERY busy making dominoe necklaces for school, invitations for New Beginnings at church, and making a scrapbook for Karissa's cheer coach, while Ross goes to work and sits on his butt all day, must be nice, right? Just kidding, I wouldn't trade my life for anything, and Ross works hard everyday, at least that is what he says.
I am going to Utah next week to watch Kaylee compete against SUU. I am looking forward to the trip and being able to see her. Kelcie is taking the shuttle down for the weekend, so I will get to see her too.
We are going to Karissa's cheer banquet tonight. It is 4 hours long, and Ross isn't looking forward to sitting with cheer moms for that long, I must say, I'm not either. I guess we might as well get used to it since she is trying out again for next year.
Reed had Western Days at school today, they learn line dances and square dancing in PE and then perform them for the parents. I will post a picture of our goof ball cowboy as soon as I get them uploaded. He is quite the character, and makes us laugh all the time. I think he takes after his dad.
Looking forward to a relaxing weekend, and I hope you all have a great weekend too.

Koryn

Here's a few recent pictures of Koryn.

Having fun during tummy time.

She recently discovered her hands and loves them!

Look at those blue eyes!

I guess bouncing is hard work!

What a precious smile! This makes it all worth everything.

February 6

Not a lot going on in Houston, with only 2 kids around, it is pretty quiet for the most part. Yesterday was Katrina's birthday, so we went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. The food was Great, the wait was not so great. We sat and ate so many rolls and appetizers that by the time we got our meal we were all too full to eat. The sound of coming home and eating the cake that Karissa spent her afternoon making (thank you Karissa) was almost more than we could handle. Katrina got spoiled with more jewelry! At the restaurant they did embarass her and make her sit in the saddle while they sang happy birthday. Darn we forgot the camera, so no evidence of the embarassing moment. The real highlight of her day was talking to all of her kids in the same day!
Kaylee will be competing in Salt Lake tonight. Good Luck Kaylee! We love you and wish we could be there.
hey look-we found a picture! :) so wish i could have been there!! -Kaylee

Well, Kaylee got the ball rolling, and then dropped it. I have no idea how to make the blog fancy or anything like that, and no time to figure it out. So......until I find more time, you will just get a plain, boring update now and again.
Ross and I just made a trip to North Carolina for Koryn's baby blessing. What a great trip, and how great to see her be blessed.
We had a great holiday season with almost everyone home. It fills the house with lots of good times and laughter. I wish everyone could live within driving distance. Just a dream of mine.
Kelcie left for BYUI on New Year's day, and is having a great time. I think she is a little cold, but hopefully she can forget that part. She likes being in our old stomping grounds.
Kaylee is in full swing on the BYU gymnastics team. From now until the end of April, that is what mostly consumes her time. She somehow finds time for a guy in her life.
Well, until next time...............

Getting the ball rolling....

Well, it's Kaylee....just thought I'd take action on this whole "we're going to try and get a family blog started" statement my dad just started throwing out there!...even though the parents...they don't really know what they're doing when it comes to these kinds of things. Let's be honest.
Alright, well currently...I am home from college for a week to celebrate Christmas, then it's back to Utah for a couple days and then off to Cancun to compete with the BYU gymnastics team. And afterwards, right back into school for a new semester full of traveling every weekend for gymnastics meets...and lots of studying (don't worry dad!) ...and maybe having a tiny bit of my own kind of fun.........
As for Kelcie, she's FINALLY going to college come Januray and I am SO excited for her to start that fun time in her life! She has no idea the fun that's coming her way... :)
And of course dad and Reed have to take her up to school to have an excuse to go skiing!...Every year I hope dad doesn't overdo himself...sometimes I think he forgets his body is older than his mind :)
Oh yes, and Kitara, Justin, and baby Koryn are here for Christmas and Koryn gets enough attention to last the rest of her lifetime!! Spoiled little girl! But seriously.....
Alright well that's all I really have to share...glad I could get this ball rolling...hopefully i didn't push it along a plateau if you know what i mean...don't worry if you don't! :)
Love to all!,
